New Years Eve

I had writen a larg post about my hopes and dreams for the new year and before I posted it I “Backspace’d” the whole thing. I saw that I had gotten very political and all I realy wanted to say was that I very much beleave in this place called the united states of america, and that if all of us was to stop looking at each othere skin color, That we would see that we are all from the same race. The human race and no mater what part of the world you are from, we are all brother’s and sister’s

Out with the new and in with the old

I am a little sad today, because a co-worker and friend is leaving today. I work in a small cargo office where it has been 3 of us for close to a year now. With this 3rd person allso came a new work schedule that gave me 3 days off a week. that was the up side to it. the down side was I had to open every day I worked. That is to say I had to git up at 3am 4 times a week. Not fun for me because I have allways been a night person. But with the sad deal with a friend leaving us and moving out of town comes my old schedule where I go back to working 5 days a week. I loose my week-end’s for the most part, but it’s not that bad. I still have to open on them two days, but I close up shop at 2pm. 2pm allmost feels as if I git off half a day even with it being  9 and half hour days. Then I am off on monday and tuesday’s now and close up shop on wednesday, thursday, and friday. The great thing is I don’t have to git to work till 9am thats allmost 5 hours later than I am doing now. oh office hours are 4:30 till 4:30 week day and 4:30 till 2:00 on the weekends. I hate that I loose a friend today, but am welcoming my old schedule back.

 

On the game front theres not much to say. I only got into the game for two hours last night and we had our first officer meeting. to hash out what we all wanted out of the guild and where we wanted to be in the next 6 months. We allso talked a good bit about the guild hall and what the first amenities would be. It’s 4 of us so it realy was not a hard meeting 3 of the 4 all wanted the same thing. The odd man out only lost one thing thay wanted in the guild hall. Thats not to say he want git it later. We all wanted it ,but is was lower down our list. The thing it we think we can deal with paying for the guild hall and at lest 3 Amenities. So the top three is CoH, portal home thingy, and the druid ring. We was thinking git the portal’s up first then bring in the cool stuff.  I sure thet the shattered lands bell will be next. It’s a T1 guild hall we are looking at so I think we can 15 amenities in it. At any rate we will put it to a vote to the guild as to what we will buy for it. I just wanted to see what the officers was thinking before we went to the people.

New Category: Insurrection

So I think that I need a new category for my blog here. this way if you don’t care to read anything about our guild then you don’t have to.

 

We hit gu lvl 22 last night and may be 23 by this morning. I’m not gitting to do much as to monday and tuseday I open and close my office. That is to say I open up at 4:30am and close up ar 4:30pm.  Add 30min to git to work and 45min or more to gitting home from work. and thats if I don’t have something I need to do before I git home. most times I can’t even log into the game till 7pm  and I start logging out around 8pm. two hours after that I’m in bed and back up at 3am.  I do better with 6hours of sleep, but can work off of 5. The great news is this should be the last week I will be doing this.

Any way I am gitting way off there. We allso got 20plat up and looking now at needing 200 plat to start the new guild hall.

Oh yes

I had to go and look up all the amenities you can add to guild hall’s.  Ouch it’s going to hurt with how much money and gsp thy want for everything. I din’t tell the guild about how much this will cost us. I did print it out and showed it to my brother. He din’t see it as being that bad. I think he is just looking at it as one little thing at a time and never added it all up. (I’m at work and will try to remember to copy the info. when I git home and put it here) The way I see it if we tryed to add the 15 things that I want( the guild will vote to see what we add) it’s going to be close to 10 plat a week and a crap load of  gsp (Guild Status Points). I din’t want to drop it on them then say  ”Ok then, see ya laters people” without talking about how/what we needed to do about it.  So I will let that sit till I can git on for a few hours and be able talk to every one.

 

On the money side of things I have allways been the money maker, but my brother can make more money doing lvl 80 writ’s than I can doing my thing. selling rares and selling thing that I can make as a carpenter wakes my a few plat a night. The thing is my brother is kicking out about 8 to 10 plat a night just off the trash he sells from the loot that drops from the mob’s he kills for the writ’s.

I’ll try to post to let you know what is going on with this new guild.

up and running

The Guild  (Insurrection)  is up and running and I just made (ok not made but am using) the new guild website on guildportal.com. We hit guild level 21 last night when I was still on, but I think thay got anothere guild level by the end of the night. Most of the guild was doing the city raids last night and having a blast.

I love the feeling of being in a new guild just starting out and every thing is new and the people all realy want to help each othere out. every one wanting to help push the guild up the level’s.

 

As one of three leaders I felt that I needed to pull all my alt’s out of the AoV guild to show that I was in the guild 100%.  I was thinking of keeping my main (Natako) crafter in the AoV because thay have a great setup for crafters. It just seemed wronge the more I thought about it. Having a toon in one guild to craft with and trying to build a new guild at the same time would feel as if I was stealing from AoV. I make a lot of money from crafting and I know that I would put that money into the new guild. So once more I have all my eggs in one basket. Just this time it feels like it is going to fly. We have a real good core group of friends and that is one thing that I feel that you need to start a new guild. That and a bit of luck.

Nat is lvl 71 Conji/Carp 65

Baerpaw lvl 39 Guardian/no trade skill as of yet

I’M STILL NOT LEVEL 80 and it’s all on me. I stoped playing him. I got burned out on Nat  and made me a Guardian. Fell in love with the Guardian and just stoped playing Nat othere than harvesting and crafting. Baerpaw is lvl39 and will stay low level for a bit. We all ( the gang/guild mates) came from nice guilds that all had good guild halls. So one of the first things we are going to do is git a guild hall before we realy start pushing the on the guildand making it grow in numbers. The T1(tier one) Guild hall is what we are after. It going take 50 plat just to git it so we was wanting to git up 100plat to start with. That way we can buy a few thing that you need for a guild hall. So while my brother and the otheres push the guild level higher and higher till we hit guild level 30. I will be making money for the guild. I’m not great at it but can make around 2 plat a night in sell’s. well not on the week-ends on 4 to 5 days a week I can make that and some times a bit more. Putting 75% inguild and keeping what I need for fuels so I can make to sell is what I will be doing for the next week or so.

Long time coming

  It’s been a long time and I am sorry it has taken me this long to git back to my blog.

So what have I been up to?

Well to start withI having been playing EQ II a lot.

I have allso had some work things to take care of.

I would love to say that I had a good reason for not keeping my blog up, but the reason for not doing it was that when I had time to do it all I wanted to do was log into EQ II and play, and so thats what I did.

 

The last I talked to you I think I was telling you of a guild that me and a few friends had started. Well just to let you know that it went down the tubes fast. With-in a few weeks one member of my 3 person group had staped playing. Then we stoped playing VG alltogether.  So I said I wanted to find a real guild and git on with my playing. so we walked taking our 2 members with us. We hooked up with AoV guild on the AB server. It a real nice guild and lots of people to hang out with. Thay had every level covered from top to bottom and the guild hall was the best I had ever seen. Just from the crafter side of the game it was sweet. 3 NPC’s that ran out for you to harvest and every bench you need to craft on. rush orders and every thing that you needed to craft with. book’s ,fuel ,everything.

I have been with them for a few months now and still like it. I have had a few hickups from time to time, and have moved some of my alt’s out of the aov guild. I have kelp Natako in the guild, but he if now more for making money and crafting. For my slash and gash fun I jump on Baerpaw (yes I know how I have it spelled. EQ II has been around for a long time and names and be a pain sometimes). He is my Guardian and I am having a blast with him. He is still low level guarian. He is lvl 38 are is it 39 as of last night, not sure.

 

Here is something I did not think I would do for some time. I have re-re-opened the old guild again. My brother was wanting to play with it and talked me in to opening the doors again. Just this time we have real members all ready. Ok so this is how it went down. my brother had got sick of looking for pick up groups to git the things that he needs done. He allso is in AoV and some how keeps gitting overlooked unless there is a spot that thay just can’t feel with one of the othere’s. This is a sticky point for me as well, becouse I seen how thay all wanted to be his friend as long as thay needed his help. He helped over half them git from lvl60  something to lvl 80 and then thay droped kicked him to the curb. and it’s been that way for a few months and he just could not take it any more. so he talked me in to opening back up. So I took my Guardian out of AoV and placed him back into the old guild and invited my brother. As soon as our ingame friend “Gulmuth” saw that we left he wanted in. So I invited him. I made Gulmuth my brother and me leaders and before the night was up a few more friends had wanted into the guild. by the next morning we hadf picked up over 9 people. The sad thing is we as a guild have not even started to build the guild up. Us 3 (my brother, Gulmuth,and I) wanted to git the guild up to guild lvl 30 and buy a guild hall first before we started inviting people into the guild. We are doing ok we hit gu lvl 18 by last night and should be at lest gu lvl 22 by tonight.

any way thats what been going on and I want to say sorry again for taking so long on gitting this out.
